24th Nordic Stroke Society Congress
15–17 September 2027 // Hilton Hotel, Reykjavik
Welcome to the 24th Nordic Stroke Society Congress
Dear colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 24th Nordic Stroke Society Congress, which will take place at Hilton Hotel in the heart of Reykjavik, Iceland, 15–17 September 2027. This congress has a long-standing tradition of bringing together clinicians and researchers dedicated to advancing stroke care. The Nordic Stroke Society Congress has earned a solid reputation for high scientific standards, lively discussions, and strong professional networking opportunities. We are proud to continue this tradition in Iceland.
The scientific program will explore the latest research, clinical innovations, and interdisciplinary collaboration in stroke care and prevention. Keynote speakers and experts from Nordic-Baltic countries and internationally will share state-of-the-art knowledge, emerging technologies, and practical solutions to improve outcomes for stroke patients.
We invite physicians, allied health professionals, researchers, and policy-makers working with stroke to take part in oral and poster presentations, symposia, panel discussions, and workshops that reflect the breadth and depth of stroke care across the continuum. In addition to the scientific program, we aim to foster collaboration, inspire new ideas, and strengthen Nordic-Baltic and international partnerships within stroke care and research. This congress is also a unique opportunity for early-career professionals and students to engage with established experts and peers in the field.
Reykjavik, the northernmost capital in the world, offers an inspiring congress setting. Known for its safety, creativity, and welcoming atmosphere, the city combines vibrant culture with easy access to some of Iceland’s most breathtaking natural wonders. We encourage you to take the opportunity to explore Iceland before or after the congress—be it glaciers, volcanoes, waterfalls, or geothermal baths.
We warmly welcome you to three exciting days in Reykjavik!
On behalf of the Nordic Stroke Society and the Local Organizing Committee,
We welcome you to Iceland!
